This site is provided by the pharmacy service within Norfolk and Waveney Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust and supported on the Trust server. It receives no hidden commercial backing or bias, and was the first UK multi-page hospital pharmacy web-site.

From here you can find out more about drug treatments that are prescribed for mental health needs, about the Pharmacy that provides information on this website, and a related group of pharmacy and drug-related items.

This site is managed by:

Stephen Bazire
Pharmacy Services Director
Norfolk and Waveney Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust

and was originally designed for people in Norfolk, England, but is available to all on a good-will basis.

We are not able and do not sell drugs over the Internet
(or anywhere else for that matter)

Should you have any further queries then please call your local mental health hospital pharmacy.

Alternatively, you can e-mail us. Although we can't guarantee to answer your questions (particularly during holiday periods when we're pretty low on staff) as we have a service to run as well, we'll try.

People from Norfolk are invited to contact us directly.

...and if you are visiting us from Norfolk or elsewhere, please let us know if this was a useful resource!

For those visitors who don't know, Norwich is the county town (or city) of Norfolk. Norfolk is the top third of the bit that sticks out on the right hand side of England just above London.

The population of Norwich is about 120,000, that of our Trust catchment area around 650,000 and that of Norfolk around 780,000*. The main employment is agriculture (particularly arable), industry (e.g. Colman's Mustard), commerce (e.g. Norwich Union Life Assurance, Virgin Direct) and tourism (e.g. the ancient City of Norwich itself, our theatres, the Norfolk Broads and the lengthy coastline).

Not forgetting Norwich City Football Club, an entertainment in itself, particularly at the moment. To find out "What's on in Norwich" click here.

No site can be entirely bias-free. No matter how hard someone tries, training and background will always influence your outlook. We have, however, tried to eliminate bias, and we hope you take these pages in the spirit in which they are provided i.e. a genuine attempt to inform, educate and support.
